Visited La Rochelle yesterday and what a beautiful town it is. Only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Les Vieilles Ombres this beautiful town has a harbour area lined with restaurants and bars and a large shopping area. There are boats trips from the harbour to the Ill De Aix and Fort Boyard (home to the international game show since 1990). The old harbour is also home to the 2 harbour towers.

The sun is still shining here in Bagnizeau and even though the sunflowers are fading the views are still magnificent...
